You don’t even need to book a formal experience to enjoy the farm. Many visitors simply come to wander the trails, meet the animals, and enjoy a beautiful day outdoors.

A legacy of love, animals, and impossible dreams
Haute Goat Farm was founded by Debbie and her husband, Shain. Debbie was a passionate dreamer who believed in sharing the joy of animals and farm life with the world.
For Debbie, the farm was never about money. It was about creating something meaningful. It was creating a place where people could reconnect with nature, find belonging, and experience the beauty of life in its simplest form.

What began as a small hobby farm quickly grew into something extraordinary. Debbie and Shain originally sold artisan goat milk chocolates, soaps, and skincare products to help support her growing herd of goats.
The goats were the beginning, but the vision became much larger.
Today, Haute Goat continues Debbie’s legacy as a place where animals, nature, and people come together in harmony.
Visits and experiences
Visitors can sign up for Farm Experiences, Workshops and Port Hope Day Trips to truly connect with our animals. Book now! You are also welcome to just come and explore the farm, with our 200 acres of groomed trails, Screaming Goat Cafe and of course the animals.
If you are not doing an experience, we appreciate that you pay what you can to help us cover the some of the costs of running the farm.
Enjoy the Ontario countryside just one-hour from Toronto and minutes from downtown Port Hope!
Please leave your dogs at home! as we have working dogs on the farm. If you need a place to leave your dog for the day while you’re here, send us an email and we’ll suggest some doggie daycares in the area.
