Haute Goat Farm is a breathtaking 200-acre farm located just outside historic Port Hope, Ontario, where you can discover the magic of our Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Huacaya Alpacas, Exotic Chickens, Icelandic Horses, Tornjak Livestock Guardian Dogs and our big, silly mule named Lucy Mae Belle. We are open WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Visits and Experiences
Visitors can sign up for Farm Experiences to truly connect with our animals. Book now! You are also welcome to just come and explore the farm, with our 200 acres of groomed trails, Screaming Goat Cafe and of course the animals.
If you are not doing an experience, we appreciate that you pay what you can to help us cover the some of the costs of running the farm.
Enjoy the Ontario countryside just one-hour from Toronto and minutes from downtown Port Hope!
Please leave your dogs at home! as we have working dogs on the farm. If you need a place to leave your dog for the day while you’re here, send us an email and we’ll suggest some doggie daycares in the area.
Screaming Goat Cafe
Make sure to check out the Screaming Goat Café, featuring a diverse, seasonal and locally sourced menu, created by the talented team. Great for lunch, snacks and hot and cold drinks. We are also licensed and feature a carefully selected list of local wine and beer.
How To Dress For the Farm
Please make sure to dress for the weather. In spring and summer, we suggest you wear boots in case it’s muddy (or you end up with poop on your feet). It also helps to prevent tics from finding you. In winter, please bundle up! It’s a little extra cold here because we are at the top of a (beautiful) hill.
