The Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence Award recipient Haute Goat is officially opening its new home, Haute Goat Farm on Saturday May 13.  Launched three years ago as a premium specialty foods and skincare maker – all offerings made with goat milk – it has taken the huge goat-leap of acquiring and redesigning a 200-acre Agri-destination within an easy drive of the GTA.  There will be activities for all ages - a ribbon cutting, goat hugging, chicken feeding, Alpaca shearing, beautiful trails, some delicious snacking and more but for now save the date!  The Haute Goat Farm is situated on hill rising above the Ganaraska Valley with breathtaking views of the Northumberland Hills, just one hour east of Toronto near Port Hope.  Details to follow.

The farm is a terrific place to explore, discover and be inspired by their Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Alpacas, Icelandic horses, exotic chickens, Apothecary Garden, Shiitake Mushroom Lodge, late summer Sunflower fields, Apiary, children’s area, groomed, nature trails with breathtaking views and an abundance of plant and animal life. Visitors are welcome to stay the day, hike the grounds and just enjoy the fresh air, farm, forest, meadows and the sweet smell of goat and alpaca poop.

The Farm Life Workshops, a series of classes, workshops and other learning opportunities giving insights and hands-on experience in a number of different aspects of farm life - continues!
