I never knew I had an affinity for goats milk or goat based products but after trying out Haute Goat a few weeks ago…I’m kinda hooked.
Haute Goat was started by a retired couple who moved out of the city in 2007 to try farming life. Deciding to dive right in, they bought 4 Nigerian Dwarf Goats. The goats, well they got frisky and started having some babies and all of a sudden what was 4 goats became many many more. Goats milk, chocolate, fudge etc was enjoyed on the farm but the more people who tried it-the more people wanted it. Hence, Haute Goat was born.
Decidedly cheeky, totally fun, and for hand-crafted-pretty affordable. This logo gets me every time!
I sampled all that was sent to me including carmel corn, carmel, fudge, lip balm and soap and everything was awesome. I’m not going to lie, the edibles didn’t last longer than 2 days. And I don’t even have a sweet tooth!
The pricing is as follows for these items:
There are a few specialty stores that carry these items, but if you can’t get there, then you can order online. The only kicker is shipping is $10 for 7 day delivery and $12 for 3 day delivery. Obviously with that, it’s better to buy in bulk then one offs. Personally, my favourites were the carmel’s and the soaps and with the holiday coming up, these are perfect hostess gifts or stocking stuffers. I already have a few people on my list for whom I’m buying.
