We were honoured to be invited by 3 nursing/longterm care homes to bring some alpacas and visit with residents from the outside. The staff thought it could bring some joy to people who have been unable to even go outside for some time. So yesterday we packed up Bella and Obi into the back of the van and trundled off to visit people at Wynfield LTC in Oshawa and then Glen Hill Marnwood in Bowmanville. Residents welcomed us from the other side of the windows, some from balconies and workers found ways to take selfies from beyond 6. What an honour for us. Thank u to all the beautiful nursing home staff. It is clear how much you care for your residents. Can't wait til we can get you all here for a Shmurgle.

On a side note, I think the one good thing that came out of covid-19 is a healthier planet. When I went out for a walk, I was breathing fresh air. There were less cars on the road, less pollution, and the animals came out. Let’s continue to be kind to Mother Nature, even when we live our normal lives again. 🌍
