Andrea Kingsley from Nature Felted, will be teaching two workshops this February, on the wonderful and eco-friendly craft of needle felting. This is a fun and soothing hobby that allows you to create soft sculptures out of wool. Needlefelting uses special, barbed felting needles to push the top layer of wool into deeper layers. The unique property of wool fibre allows it to "stick" to itself which causes the wool to felt. The wool can then be shaped or sculpted into any 3Dshape.
Choose from two different workshops, or participate in both. Learn how to needle felt an adorable sheep or how to make a cute goat. Both workshops are suitable for beginners however; the goat workshop is a little more involved and may not be as easy for young beginners.
Both workshops include instruction on needle felting and materials to get you started. Extra supplies can be purchased at the end of the workshop for you to create another masterpiece at home. An excellent warm lunch can be purchased at extra cost from the Screaming Goat Café.
